HEERF DISCLOSURE:

  1. The Orlo School of Hair Design and Cosmetology signed and returned to the Department the Certification and Agreement and the assurance that the institution has used, or intends to use, no less than 50 percent of the funds received under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act to provide Emergency Financial Aid Grants to students.

  2. The institution will receive or has received from the Department the allowable amount pursuant to the institution’s Certification and Agreement [for] Emergency Financial Aid Grants to students.

  3. The Orlo School of Hair Design and Cosmetology plans to distribute no less than 50 percent of the funds received under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act to students as of September 1, 2020.

  4. The total number of students at the institution eligible to receive Emergency Financial Aid Grants to students under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act are those students eligible to participate in Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965.

  5. The total number of students at the institution to receive Emergency Financial Aid Grants under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act is the total of the institution’s full-time day and evening students.

  6. The Orlo School of Hair Design and Cosmetology has obtained the grant for students to help address the students’ financial needs following the disruption of the institution’s campus due to COVID-19. Students at the institution eligible to receive Emergency Financial Aid Grants are those students who were in good standing at the time of the campus closure.  Students who enrolled at the institution after the campus re-opening on September 1, 2020, are not eligible.  The funds will be allocated equally among all eligible students.

  7. The funds will be distributed to the students in one disbursement following the re-opening of the campus.The funds will be distributed in check form to each student.  Students will be asked to sign an acknowledgement that the funds were received.

HEERF III DISCLOSURE: AMERICAN RESCUE PLAN ACT OF 2021

  1. The Orlo School of Hair Design and Cosmetology signed and returned to the Department the Certification and Agreement that the institution has used the funds received under CRRSA and ARP(a)(1) and (a)(4) to provide Emergency Financial Aid Grants to students. The institution has received from the Department the allowable amount pursuant to the Certification and Agreement for Emergency Financial Aid Grants to students and disbursed that amount by the time of this submission.

  2. The total number of students at the institution eligible to receive Emergency Financial Aid Grants under CRRSA and ARP(a)(1) and (a)(4) are those students eligible to participate in Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965. The total number of students at the institution to receive Emergency Financial Aid Grants under CRRS and ARP(a)(1) and (a)(4) is the total of the institution’s full-time students as of 3/3/22.  The funds were allocated equally among the eligible students in one disbursement.  Students were asked to sign an acknowledgement that the funds were received and the purpose for which they are intended.
